Initial consultation: $65.00
Share your health history, current symptoms, medications, and anything that may affect whether needling is appropriate.
Dr. Whipple reviews the affected area, tenderness, and movement before discussing the available care options.
If you choose to proceed, thin, sterile, single-use needles are placed based on the service and assessment. Sensations vary and are discussed beforehand.
If another service may fit your goals, Dr. Whipple explains it separately so you can decide whether to include it.

Meet the Doctor
Born and raised in Southwest Kansas, Dr. Whipple earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree with the plan of moving back home. Years of high-volume practice in another Kansas town built the experience, and Garden City is where the office now lives.
At a prior practice, Dr. Whipple treated more than 800 patients a month. That volume reinforced the value of efficient visits without skipping assessment. The Garden City office now combines walk-in availability, clear explanations, and care plans built around each patient's goals.

These wellness plans cover recurring chiropractic adjustment visits. Acupuncture is $40.00 per session; ask the office how dry needling is priced and whether a plan or package applies.

Most people have never had a needle in a muscle. Here are the questions we hear most, answered the way Dr. Whipple answers them in the office.
Dry needling uses thin, sterile, single-use needles in areas identified during a musculoskeletal assessment. It is a distinct service from acupuncture, even though both use thin needles.
Dry needling and acupuncture use thin needles but are described and selected differently. Dr. Whipple can explain which service is being discussed, what it involves, and why it may or may not fit your goals.
Sensations vary. You may notice a brief prick, ache, or muscle twitch, and temporary soreness or bruising can occur afterward. Tell Dr. Whipple about any concern during or after treatment.
Dry needling may be discussed for some muscle pain, tenderness, or movement concerns. Whether it is appropriate depends on your health history, symptoms, and assessment.
Acupuncture sessions are $40.00 and chiropractic adjustments are $45.00. Ask the office to confirm which service is appropriate and the exact price before treatment; plan or package coverage depends on the care selected.
